A request refers to media (ie a photo or a video clip) that you can send to your connected athletes. They can then share it to their social media channels. You can only send requests to athletes who have accepted your connection request.
You have the ability to choose between sending a Share Post, a Scheduled Post, Share Link, Scheduled Link or a Create Content Request. A Share Post/Link will publish immediately once the athlete (or designated social media manager) has approved it whereas a Scheduled Post/Link will go live at the designated time you choose. This is fantastic for time-sensitive campaigns that will be more effective when released at a specific time (ie just before a match begins). A Create Content Request refers to a scenario where you are asking the athlete to create a specific piece of content. An example may be asking an athlete to film a 30-second video giving their thoughts on a particular issue. In this case, the request to the athlete will take the form of a message – no media will be attached.
